I woke up because of mum calling me. We had to have breakfast at 7am so we had to hurry up. We washed ourselves and got ready for the big day. We went to the buffet restaurant where we ate dinner yesterday and ate a breakfast. There was bacon, egg, baked beans, cereals and fruits: like usual buffet breakfasts. I always liked baked beans so I ate a lot of them. And I¡¯m also bacon-maniac too!

After breakfast, we hopped in the bus. Our luggage was already on the bottom of the bus. And off we go! For ¡®The Batman Bridge¡¯! We thought it was named after Batman but it was the remembrance of the man called John Batman. He was one of the man who helped to establish Launceston.

Dad said to mum she had to take a lot of pictures during the travel. Oh my! At the last day, we realized mum taken more then 300 photos this holiday! (50 each day in average).

Anyway many tourists, most of them old people, were interested in our Heelys. But we hadn¡¯t had much time because we had to take pictures.

We left the Batman Bridge and headed to The Grove, which is a place where they have old houses and stuff. We went there and saw a lot of old stuff. And there were delicious apple pies.

After visiting The Grove, we headed to our next destination: St Helens.

It was a long and boring drive to St Helens so Mum did let me play Gameboy because the trip was boring. Almost everybody seemed bored too. Mum was asleep. Then, finally, we arrived in St Helens.

It was an old Aborigine¡¯s old town. There was a small museum that shows the early Australian settlers and Aborigines.

We picked up a Aboriginal Guide for guide the beach of St Helens for us. She told us about us a plant that Aborigines ate. When I tried it, I liked it! It was a bit salty but pretty delicious!

Then, we saw a ancient fireplace Living& Place of Aborigines. St Helens was beautiful beach. After that, we dropped off the lady and we just drove to Scamander Beach.

It was another boring ride and I didn¡¯t played Gameboy because I was so tired that I slept.

After arriving at Chancellor Inn Scamander, we unpacked our stuff and went to lounge for instructions. They introduced Judy¡¯s Doll Shop. We wanted to visit there so after unpacking we visited the doll shop. There was a lot of pretty handmade doll but I¡¯m a boy you know. But Paul wanted to buy one of the teddy bear so Mum bought for him.

After that we had a dinner and went to bed, readying to begin the Port Arthur Adventure in Tomorrow.
