Class 16. I am also their Reading and Writing teacher and review their journal
writing whilst here at Minjok. Over the last two weeks we having been working on
creating more descriptive writing and covered readings on Confucius and the
stress experienced by journalists reporting on traumatic events. These readings
have led to interesting class discussions, which allow the students to better
share their understanding of what they have read.
Hyung-sub has shown
himself to be a quick worker who likes to get his work done with a minimum of
fuss and bother. Despite the speed at which he works, he still produces
high-quality and correct work. His in-class reading test from this week is an
example of this, where he was first to finish but was also close to the top of
the class in his result. He has strong English skills and is a solid contributor
in small-group work.
